Ein kostenlose Erweiterung für das bietet Amazon zum Download an. Die Kindle Applikation ist ab sofort auch für Nutzer verfügbar. Mit der Applikation lassen sich auf dem problemlos eBooks von Amazon kaufen und lesen.

Wer bereits ein besitzt, kann die Daten problemlos mit seinem symchronisieren.

Der Download ist dann , funktioniert laut Anbieter jedoch nur auf neuen Geräten, wie dem Curve 8200, 8900, Tour 9630, Bold 9000 und 9700. Ausserdem sind die Storm Geräte 9500, 9530 und 9550 mit der kompatibel.
