What does this mobile client do for you?
With the cellity tweeter client you can use all of the following Twitter features directly from your mobile phone:
- my timeline: show last 20 messages in my timeline
- public timeline: show 20 current public messages from random users
- timeline of a friend: show timeline of a selected friend (20)
- list of friends: show list of “friends”
- list of followers: show list of “followers”
- featured list: show list of featured users
- my messages: show received direct messages
- send direct message: send private message to a friend
- sms tell a friend: send SMS with download link to new user
- mail tell a friend: send email with download link to new user
How does it do that?
- If you have not done so far, you will need to register an account with Twitter
- The cellity tweeter connects to our dedicated tweeter server which then directly connects to Twitter. This way we avoid you paying for expensive SMS per message. It is just a little bit of data traffic through GPRS.
- The software is free, of course. Also, we do not charge any money for the data traffic incurred when connection to twitter. However, you mobile network operator will charge you a little bit for the data traffic – please check their rates to be informed.
Technical information:
- works on any Java MIDP1 and MIDP2 enabled phone, which means it also works on most of the Symbian and Windows Mobile pohnes (as many of them support Java)
